Handmade Kashmiri silk carpets, Pashmina & heirloom crafts
The art of patience, made to be inherited.
Silk carpets knotted over ten months. Pashmina embroidered for almost a year. Commissioned directly from the master artisans of Kashmir, and offered privately.
The Maison
We do not make objects to be replaced. We make heirlooms — slowly, by hand, in the valley where these crafts were born six centuries ago.

Signature piece
Khurasan
in madder red
Named for the eastern province of historic Persia, the Khurasan unfolds from an ivory-and-saffron medallion into a dense garden of palmettes and scrolling vines on a madder-red ground. Nearly four and a half million knots of pure silk give it a lustre that shifts as you walk around it — a centrepiece for a formal drawing room or a private library.

The arithmetic of patience
Every knot, tied by hand.
A Kashmiri silk carpet is read from the talim — a coded script the weaver chants, row by row. Size your carpet and see what a master weaver will give it.
576 knots in every square inch. Timelines are indicative and confirmed with you at consultation. Commission this carpet

The conversation
A private consultation — by video, telephone or at our Srinagar atelier — about the space, the story and the investment.
The drawing
Our naqash draws the design and colour palette. For carpets, the talim is written. Nothing begins until you approve.
The making
Months of work by hand. We share progress from the loom and the bench as your piece takes shape.
The arrival
Your piece is carefully packed and delivered to your door, with its story and certificate of origin.
Authenticity
Protected by origin. Proven by hand.
Kashmiri carpets and Pashmina carry Geographical Indication protection — only pieces made in Kashmir, by traditional hand methods, may bear the name. Every IndoArtistry piece is made this way, without exception.
