Worked with a hooked needle and thick woollen thread, Kashmiri crewel brings flowing vines, blossoms and paisleys to life with a tactile, raised texture — on velvet, cotton or linen.
The craft
Every stitch follows the landscape of the Valley — its orchards, its chinar leaves, its spring meadows — rendered in chain stitch so dense that the fabric seems to bloom.
We produce complete ensembles: bedcovers, cushions, drapes and upholstery lengths, coordinated for a single room or an entire residence.
