Consultation in your time zone
We hold private video consultations from mid-morning to early evening Central European Time, in natural daylight at the atelier so that silk shows its true colour. You see each piece turned in the light, the back of every carpet, and the knots counted on camera.
For a significant commission we can also discuss a viewing at your residence or with your designer.
Restraint and craft
European interiors often prefer the quieter register of Kashmiri work: the tonal Khursaam in ivory and sand, a silk runner in a Haussmann corridor, a single pictorial silk on a plain wall, a walnut screen as sculpture. Bespoke palettes can be drawn from a room's own materials.
Delivery to Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and the rest of Europe
Every piece is packed by hand at the atelier — carpets rolled around a core in breathable cloth, papier-mâché and copper cushioned in fitted cartons — and sent door-to-door by insured international courier with tracking.
Import duties and local taxes vary by country and are set by your customs authority; we tell you what to expect before you confirm, and prepare every document your customs office needs, including the GI certification for carpets and Pashmina.
Documentation
Each carpet and Pashmina travels with its GI certification and a signed statement of materials, knot density and origin — the paperwork collectors, insurers and customs authorities in Europe expect.
