We hold private video consultations from early morning to mid-afternoon Eastern time, and by arrangement for the West Coast, in natural daylight at the atelier so that silk shows its true colour. You see each piece turned in the light, the back of every carpet, and the knots counted on camera.

For a significant commission we can also discuss a viewing at your residence or with your designer.

Made for American rooms

American interiors run large. Where a European drawing room takes a 6 × 9 ft carpet, a great room in Texas or Connecticut may want 10 × 14 ft or more — and a carpet that size is not a stock item anywhere. We knot it to the room: the medallion centred on the seating, the border clearing the hearth.

Designers working in the traditional, transitional and grand-millennial styles favour the Kashan and Tabriz medallions in madder and navy; contemporary projects take the tonal Khursaam and custom palettes drawn from the room's own fabrics.

Delivery to the United States

Every piece is packed by hand at the atelier — carpets rolled around a core in breathable cloth, papier-mâché and copper cushioned in fitted cartons — and sent door-to-door by insured international courier with tracking.

Import duties and local taxes vary by country and are set by your customs authority; we tell you what to expect before you confirm, and prepare every document your customs office needs, including the GI certification for carpets and Pashmina.

Working with your designer

Many of our American commissions arrive through interior designers and architects. We provide CAD-ready dimensions, palette strike-offs and progress photography, and schedule delivery around the installation. See our trade programme.
