Horsemen on a midnight ground
A pictorial silk of galloping horsemen, woven to be hung as art.
The story of the piece
Goda means horse. On a midnight ground, riders with bows and falcons race through a forest of blossoms and birds — a pictorial carpet in the tradition of royal hunting scenes, knotted at 576 knots per square inch and intended for the wall.
