Gulander Gul
Gulander Gul — flower within flower — is the most exuberant of the Kashmiri floral designs. Large red and white blossoms open across a deep green or black ground, layered so that smaller flowers bloom within the petals of larger ones, in the colours of a Kashmiri garden in May.

Colour and abundance
Where Hazaar Posh is dense and fine, Gulander Gul is bold: fewer, larger flowers, painted in layers to give depth, with the green ground showing between them like foliage. It is a design of warmth and generosity, made to bring colour into a room.
