How long does a commission take?
It depends entirely on the craft, the size and the intricacy. A plain Pashmina takes four to five weeks; a 6 × 9 ft silk-on-silk carpet around ten months; an all-over embroidered Pashmina up to eleven. We confirm a timeline with you before any work begins.
Will I see the design before it is made?
Yes. Our naqash prepares the design and palette for your approval. For carpets, nothing is set on the loom — and no talim is written — until you are completely happy.
Can you match an existing interior or a reference?
Very often. Share photographs, fabric swatches, paint references or architectural drawings and we will interpret them in the language of the craft.
Do you create gifts and sets in quantity?
We regularly create papier-mâché, copperware and Pashmina for weddings, corporate and diplomatic gifting. Please give us as much notice as you can.
